Oooh arrr.....
i was on my way home from work yesterday spotted a sigh "free" now that always gets my attention. yes! i have another free toilet... i do realize that it is strange to like toilets....
my last creation was a Table for Danial i was thinking of making this one in to a fish bowl but it hasn't been perceived as a good idea :(. saying that tho i they didn't believe the table would work either....oh and its not the yucky type of dirty its just when i got it, it was raining and it had been sitting in mud.

Gifts from Santa
Our cat Santa, is apparently attempting to follow his name sake. Every few of days I am finding new objects at my door of the morning, from wool to blankets.
this morning however was unique! he was been quite annoying in the middle of the night crying at my door and such (i ignored him)and i awake to fine a some of mums knitted toys lined up nicely.
so the cat managed to bring these toys up the stairs and to my door.... what exactly were these toys doing to demand such a drastic action? Oh and uni is going good to :)

Vintage barges!
Beautiful "how to book" on sewing, because it was done in the 40's it shows a lot of techniques that have changed and that we all to keen sewers tend to miss then wounder why things don't sit quiet right.
These cups i feel in love with the moment i spotted them. i had my heart set on an similar 8pc sett but they where around $180 and obviously far out of my price range!!!! I got them from a "dear prudence" new lil vintage shop on Sturt Street.
And naturally i am always on the look for patterns! this lovey one was found on e-bay. I hope o make this in a nice light tweed. (the one with the collar and sleeves)
On a different note this week has been my first week at Uni! my classes are made of a great range of people from all walks of life witch makes for really good discussion.
