This is my first dress made using my dress form, it was very helpful to use and i dare say saved me quite a lot of time, i also enjoyed not having to try and do adjustments and poke my self with pins. i originally made the patten as directed but when i had finished it looked like a strange bag....

The waist is quite gathered at the back and a small belt as suggested looks un sightly! so instead i made a wide belt it comes together with buttons at the back and i think it make it look nicer.

i have never tried to make anything that has so obvious lines in the material, the center pieces come together at a strange angle, it matches up fine but still looks strange! any hints on how to do better next time?
i also added a peter pan collar the first made me appear as a turtle, but that's most probably an erorr of mine. i know there are alot of faults but i guess practice makes prefect.

I have a strange fascination with the American holiday Halloween, we don't really celebrate here so.. yep in my life there is a lot of strange of dolls. these dolls are scary in price as well as looks!
i also manage to collect my customers business cards, here is my two faves.





i also collect patterns of the vintage type and buttons, (tab has more patterns than anyone i know!)

my top draw is just the dumping ground for my air brushes and paint,not the only place they live tho, pots of paint hide every were in my studio/ office. Can't say i have ever really contemplated my draws before it was interesting to think about.

Yesterday was my 21st birthday!
had lots of fun might turn 21 again next year...

Oooh arrr.....

i was on my way home from work yesterday spotted a sigh "free" now that always gets my attention. yes! i have another free toilet... i do realize that it is strange to like toilets....



my last creation was a Table for Danial i was thinking of making this one in to a fish bowl but it hasn't been perceived as a good idea :(. saying that tho i they didn't believe the table would work either....oh and its not the yucky type of dirty its just when i got it, it was raining and it had been sitting in mud.

Gifts from Santa

Our cat Santa, is apparently attempting to follow his name sake. Every few of days I am finding new objects at my door of the morning, from wool to blankets.
this morning however was unique! he was been quite annoying in the middle of the night crying at my door and such (i ignored him)and i awake to fine a some of mums knitted toys lined up nicely.
so the cat managed to bring these toys up the stairs and to my door.... what exactly were these toys doing to demand such a drastic action? Oh and uni is going good to :)
