Autism Awareness
yep to day is the last day of the Autism awareness, naturally i waited till the last day but oh well :) this month Autism Spectrum Disorder was also newly categorized as a separate disability, it may not make much sense but it means that people with autism will be categorized differently.
for example, people at the high end of the spectrum can be very smart and highly intellectual, however they also have problems in relationships and social interaction. To get funding or a disability pension you must have a very low IQ. So until now people with Autism have been left out of a lot of government help. Now that it is it's own "type" of disability pensions and funding will be available to them :) yey! slowly Australia is getting to real equality!

Fish fingers and custard

I am interested in this new taste sensation thanks to the 11th doctor brilliant! The doctor has a fun scene with testing out his taste buds Fish fingers and custard!!!
only one problem i can't eat custard.


I brought some awesome dress fabric with Andrew on my birthday trip to Melbourne, i had an idea in my head of the pattern but now i am come int accept the fact it may not exist :(. oi am tempted to try some pattern adjustment but realistically i don't have the experience. I have a pattern that would work and I'm looking at some possibles on e-bay. I need to learn how to adjust pattern i have an awesome old book that has some hints but it would be nice to know in more detail.t eat cus

My Place & Yours

This week on My Place & Yours is Where do you blog?
I normally blog at my table/desk. it faces the garage so it's not the most simulating view. Although when i look to either side i see my lovely pots and on the other..... the work i should be doing... i was very tempted to clean and make it look more fun but in reality it's just not that exciting :)

Have you ever sat looking at a quiet scene an thought what would 720 hideous men's ties look like? well no I had not ether until approached by a lady at church who wanted my help to print the church logo on a few ties..... Now I had in my head around 30 or so? Nope 720, this has been a good lessen in first asking the quantity of a job before undergoing it! Well if there are a few I don't get done I won’t feel any guilt especially as I have work and uni (and not getting paid)

I apologize to Andrew in advance and will make this process as painless as possible for him, and me!

most useful/used gadget

My Place & Yours

My favorite gadget is my notepad/tablet it's great for doing things in photoshop and playing fun silly computer games. I use it so much that using a normal computer mouse feals strange. Oddly enough my second faverate is my thimble it is useful for many things in sewing.
