As it was Valentine’s Day my beautiful Andrew gave me flowers. But not just any flowers he spent a long time making these perfect roses out of ribbon! Now all that know me know I love ribbon. These are defiantly the best flowers ever .
I gave him a t shirt I made and brownies that are gluten wheat and completely dairy free. I took a while to get the recipe right but I was pleased with the end result! They are quite yummm………
In another note I’m a bit annoyed at myself atm although I’m not sure it’s really my fault. I’m not in the habit of weighing myself but I do around this time each year just to see how those things are going. Now I have been steadily been growing and naturally gaining weight for years. I have notices I’m a bit thinner than last year (thought I’d lost 5kg or so) so I weighed myself.
Last year I stood at a nice weight that I was happy with of around 55kg….. I am now 41kg AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRR. Not good !!!

The Ballarat fine art galleriery
The Ballarat fine art galleries next generation exhibit opened yesterday featuring the top 70 pieces of work form 2008 in the Central Highlands region.
Out of four design technology pieces I was chosen to show my work.
And I also had three of my studio art pieces displayed, even though they are under the art category in the magazine( and yes it does matter)
I am pleased that my work and folios were selected to be displayed. I was a little disappointed I must admit when I didn’t receive an award not even an encouragement one. But I suppose that doesn’t matter, I worked hard all year for that award and the person who received it in my category didn’t even bother to show up…..

Fire toll climbs to 108
just yesterday the toll sat at a devastating 35. now Victoria looks at a unspeakable total of 108.
The death toll was updated from the previous figure of 93 released by police at 2am, but DSE spokesman Geoff Russell was unable to say where the bodies had been found.
Mr Russell said conditions this morning had improved from the weekend with a cooler change coming through with moist air.
A southerly wind is pushing fires in a north to northeasterly direction.
"Our biggest concern at the moment is around Beechworth,'' Mr Russell said.
The fire has skirted Beechworth and is heading towards Yackandandah.
"There are seven or eight small settlements in the path of this fire and those residents have been urged to get their fire plans underway,'' Mr Russell said.

'Worst day in Victoria's history'
Thirty-five people are confirmed dead and the toll is expected to rise in Victoria's worst bushfires since Ash Wednesday.
The number of dead is expected to reach more than 40 as blazes continue to ravage the state with more than 200,000 hectares affected as 3000 firefighters struggle to contain seven major firefronts.
The largest firefront is in the Kinglake area, where more than 120,000 hectares have been burnt and at least 12 people have been killed. More than 80,000 hectares have been burnt in Gippsland.
"Friends and family of victims of the Kinglake fire broke down sobbing outside the Whittlesea community activity centre upon learning of the fate of 12 residents who perished in the blaze where six people were killed in one car"
the most worrying thing for me last night was that my brother was only 500m from the blazing bush. he lives in Whittlesea. the statistics are horrible, it hits u the most wen u know your family is at risk. i know that's obvious but it was scary. not many things make me cry but this is......

meh
When u are exited and pumped about something life seems to love changing curse. I have been egaly anticipating a holiday and going to see my eldest sister who lives all the way in broken hill. Yet due to un seen circumstances beyond my control we are all stuck at home with nothing to do as we have taken the time out from our work and lives, to know do nothing. It is disappointing and annoying as it seems it’s just another thing that is not going to work atm.
I’m having trouble with the air compressor. It has a broken regulator the costs $57 to fix and that is a lot more then I have planned to spend. Due to the pressure the air has also wrecked my new air brush…… things are not going ok.
I have completed two t-shirts for my sister and her husband only to find that one stencil leaked and it can’t be undone. Nope I have no good news to share so there is nothing to cheer u up sry.
