My new dress is my first crack at the art of self drafting patterns. I am happy with the result and the mistakes are only there to be seen by other sewers who know what to look for. The waist breaks up the fabric so the pattern is not to over bearing.
I would love a nice pair of black Mary janes, I've been on the look out but it's back in to boot weather and the ones i have seen look far to expensive and flimsy.

I like the shoes you're wearing with it. I saw some awesome 'buttermilk' shoes when I was planning my 20s party. So wish I had of bought them but they were like $160. I still dream about them though.

well i had second thoughts with the v back because i didn't know if it would look good with my tat and i liked the fabric so much i didn't want to make something i only half liked. i will try the v later on i think.
